The TrimHub Salons (“TrimHub”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by Lisa & Lars Salons Pvt. Ltd., an Indian company with salons across India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information when you visit trimhubsalons.com, book an appointment, walk into a TrimHub salon, use our Wi-Fi, contact us, or apply for a franchise or job.

This Policy is published in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, and, where applicable, the EU/UK GDPR for visitors from those regions.

Information you give us

• Name, mobile number, email address and gender when you book an appointment or enquire.
• Preferred salon, stylist, service and appointment time.
• Hair, skin, scalp or allergy details you choose to share with your stylist for safe service delivery.
• Government ID (only where required for franchise, employment or KYC).
• Payment details processed by our PCI-DSS compliant payment partners. We do not store full card numbers or CVVs.
• Photos or feedback you voluntarily share (for example, style references or reviews).

Information we collect automatically

• Device, browser, IP address, approximate location, pages viewed and referring URL.
• Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 8).
• CCTV footage inside and immediately around our salons, for safety and loss prevention.

Information from third parties

• Reviews and ratings from Google Business Profile and other listing platforms.
• Lead information from partners such as Meta, Google Ads, JustDial or franchise portals where you have opted in.
• Analytics providers who help us understand website performance.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18 without a parent or guardian being present. Minors are welcomed at TrimHub only when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who provides consent on their behalf.

• To confirm, remind and manage your appointments and walk-ins.
• To deliver, personalise and improve services at the salon (for example, remembering your preferred stylist or formula).
• To process payments, invoices, refunds and loyalty credits.
• To respond to your enquiries, complaints and feedback.
• To send transactional messages (booking confirmations, receipts, service updates) over SMS, WhatsApp, email or call.
• To send marketing communications, offers and newsletters where you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To evaluate franchise applications and manage partner relationships.
• For safety, security, fraud prevention and to comply with legal obligations.
• For analytics, research and to improve our website, salon experience and training.

• Consent for marketing, non-essential cookies and sharing sensitive information such as allergies.
• Performance of a contract to deliver the services you have booked.
• Legitimate interests such as securing our salons, preventing fraud and improving our services.
• Legal obligation to meet tax, accounting, consumer protection and other laws.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Franchisee-operated TrimHub salons that serve you, under strict brand and data protection standards.
• Trusted service providers who help us run bookings, payments, communications, hosting, analytics and customer support.
• Professional advisors such as auditors, lawyers and insurers, bound by confidentiality.
• Law enforcement, regulators or courts where required by law or to protect our rights, staff and guests.
• Buyers or successors in the event of a merger, acquisition or restructuring, subject to equivalent protection.

Some of our service providers (for example, cloud hosting or analytics) may process data outside India. When we transfer personal information across borders, we use providers that offer contractual and technical safeguards comparable to Indian standards, and, where applicable, we follow the transfer rules set out under the DPDP Act and GDPR.

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law. Appointment and billing records are typically retained for up to 8 years to meet tax and accounting requirements. Marketing preferences are retained until you withdraw consent. CCTV footage is generally overwritten within 30 to 90 days, unless retained for an ongoing investigation.

We use strictly necessary cookies to run our website, and, with your consent, analytics and marketing cookies from providers such as Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta. These help us understand which pages are useful, measure campaign performance and improve the booking experience.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and manage consent through the cookie banner where available. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the site.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Erase your information where it is no longer necessary or where you withdraw consent.
• Withdraw consent to marketing or optional processing at any time.
• Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in case of incapacity or death (DPDP Act).
• File a grievance with our Grievance Officer, or with the Data Protection Board of India.

We follow reasonable technical and organisational measures aligned with ISO 27001 principles, including encryption in transit, role based access control, secure hosting, audit logging and staff training. No system is perfectly secure, and we ask you to also keep your account details and OTPs confidential.

You can opt out of marketing messages at any time by clicking unsubscribe in our emails, replying STOP to WhatsApp or SMS, or writing to us. You will continue to receive essential service communications such as booking confirmations.

Our website and social channels may link to third party sites such as Instagram, YouTube or partner brands. This Policy does not apply to those sites; please review their own privacy policies before sharing information.

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology or the law. The latest version will always be available on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes will be highlighted through a website banner or email where appropriate.
